Tori Amos became the voice of a generation of young girls when she delivered her first solo record in 1992. Each of the tracks on Little Earthquakes painted an evocative picture, and the album delivered 5 singles: "Crucify," "Silent All These Years," "Winter," "China," "Me and A Gun." The album has already received the deluxe treatment in 2006, and this 2-LP is the first time the tracks have been remastered for this format. Notes are the same as those featured in the 2015 reissue, but the remastering was done lovingly by Jon Astley at Abbey Road Studios. In 2022, to coincide with the 30th anniversary of the record, Z2 announced a graphic novel of the album, and Tori toured the US and Europe.

Soundgarden-Badmotorfinger - Badmotorfinger is the third studio album by American rock band Soundgarden and was released through A&M Records. Soundgarden began the recording sessions for the album with new bassist Ben Shepherd in the spring of 1991. The album maintained the band's heavy metal sound while featuring an increased focus on songwriting as compared with the band's previous releases. Considered the album's music to be "surprisingly cerebral and arty"; alternative tunings and abnormal time signatures were present on several of the album's songs, and lyrics were intended to be ambiguous and create imagery.

Double vinyl LP pressing. Play is the fifth studio album by electronic musician Moby, originally released in 1999. Moby's goal for Play was to return to this style of music, blending downtempo with blues and roots music samples. Originally intended to be his final record, the album was recorded at Moby's home studio in Manhattan, New York. Play was both a critical success and a commercial phenomenon. The album introduced Moby to a worldwide mainstream audience, not only through a large number of hit singles that helped the album to dominate worldwide charts for two years, but also through unprecedented licensing of it's songs in films, television shows, and commercials. Play eventually became the biggest-selling electronica album of all time, with over 12 million copies sold worldwide.

Vinyl LP pressing. This debut emerged as one of the most influential rap albums of the '90s. It laid the groundwork for the rebirth of New York hip-hop, an underground, hardcore new sound that went on to influence Biggie, Jay-Z, Nas, and Mobb Deep, among others. Rap became at once theatrical and cerebral, MCs lyricists and powerhouses capable of violence, metaphor, humor and revolution in their performing. The album is full of hard, gritty beats, references to pop culture and martial arts, eclectic piano and string sounds, as well as surrealist overtones, and there truly was nothing like it in the hip-hop world at the time. Even now, it's an original album in a league of it's own. Get it. You won't regret it.

Dr. Dre's Debut 'The Chronic' Returns to Interscope and Streaming Services BY CARL LAMARRE Dr. Dre's solo debut album, The Chronic, is celebrating it's 30th anniversary with a special re-re[1]lease on Interscope Records and a return to streaming services after nearly a year away. "I am thrilled to bring The Chronic home to it's original distribution partner, Interscope Records," says Dre in a press release, adding that working with the label "to re-release the album and make it available to fans all over the world is a full circle moment for me." Steve Berman, vice chairman of Inter[1]scope Geffen A&M, expressed similar ex[1]citement, saying: "Dr. Dre is without a doubt one of the most iconic and groundbreaking artists in the modern era. He has also used his platform to fuel some very impactful philanthropic efforts that will ensure his legacy is felt for generations to come. Dre's solo career all started with the The Chron[1]ic, one of the most celebrated recordings of all time. To have this album at Interscope once again where we work with Dre and his amazing team at Aftermath day in and day out is incredibly gratifying for me personally and all of us at Interscope." Earlier this month, Billboard reported that Dre sold his music assets to Universal Music and Shamrock Holdings for a deal estimat[1]ed to be $200 million. According to sources, the assets include mainly passive income streams, such as artist royalties from two of his solo albums and his share of N.W.A. art[1]ist royalties; his producer royalties; and more. The Chronic had long been available on streaming services but was pulled, along with several other Death Row classics, after Snoop Dogg purchased the label early last year. Considered one of the most storied al[1]bums in hip-hop, The Chronic had a splashy debut on the Billboard 200, entering the charts at No. 3. Released in 1992 on Death Row Records / Interscope, Dre's magnum opus earned three Hot 100 top 40 hits, "most notably "Nothin' But a "G" Thang," which peaked at No. 2. John Janick, chairman of Interscope Geffen A&M, said: "From my first day at Interscope the significance of Dr. Dre as a foundational artist at this label was incred[1]ibly important to me. We take our responsi[1]bility to Dre and his amazing body of work very seriously and we are honored to work closely with him on this re-release of one of the most important albums of all time."

To celebrate the anniversary of No Code, we are reissuing No Code on 150-gram black vinyl. This is the first time the album has been available on the format since its original release. It features recreations of their original packaging, including the set of nine replica Polaroids/lyric cards.

The 1996 sessions for No Code featured longtime producer Brendan O'Brien (his third consecutive collaboration with the band) and drummer Jack Irons, who’d joined the band at the end of the Vitalogy sessions. They explored new approaches to writing and recording, developing songs out of jam sessions and eschewing their stadium-grunge style for self-examining ballads, garage rock and even psychedelic sounds. No Code became the band’s third consecutive No. 1 album, with lead single "Who You Are" topping Billboard’s Modern Rock chart.

In Utero is a howling, defiantly punkish recording, an unsentimental throwback to an era of garage band epiphanies and raw, unadorned rock and roll. Nirvana rails against both alternative conformity and polished notions of commercial rock with the anthemic rage of true outcasts. Engineer-producer Steve Albini has enabled Nirvana to replicate the savage immediacy of their live sound--the sound of a band without commercial aspirations or pretensions, just thrashing away for the sheer joy of noise. Limited double vinyl LP pressing of this album by the American rockers. Amorica is the third album by The Black Crowes. Spawned from their unreleased scrapped album Tall, Amorica was released in late 1994 on American Recordings. The album was banned from some stores like Walmart and Kmart, due to its sexually explicit album cover, which features a woman's crotch wearing a United States flag thong with pubic hair sticking out. The picture was from the cover of a July 1976 Hustler magazine. The image was censored and replaced with a black background which only featured the triangle. Amorica eventually reached Gold status in the United States, shipping 500,000 copies.

When the prevailing guitar jingle of 'Mr. Jones' cascaded over radio in the early 90s, it was a sure sign that the Counting Crows were a musical force to be reckoned with. Their debut album, August and Everything After, burst at the seams with both dominant pop harmonies and rich, hearty ballads, all thanks to lead singer Adam Duritz. The lone guitar work of 'Mr. Jones' coupled with the sweet, in-front pull of Duritz's voice kicked off the album in full force. The starkly beautiful and lonely sounding 'Round Here' captured the band's honest yet subtle talent for singing ballads, while 'Omaha' is lyrically reminiscent of a Springsteen tune. The fusion of hauntingly smooth vocals with such instruments as the Hammond B-3 organ and the accordion pumped new life into the music scene, and their brisk sound catapulted them into stardom.
